She was predeceased by: her parents, Davis Maxwell Thompson and Mamie Edith Thompson; her husband Doyle Dean Rone; and her siblings, Ira Thompson, Davis Thompson, Ralph Thompson, Lillie Dee Kerr, Lucy Fowler, Mae Bowie, Lois Huffman, Thelma Mitchell and Edna Ruth Thompson.
She is survived by: her sister Janice McAdams (Douglas) of McCool; her children, Deanna Rone Brent (Randy) of Hattiesburg, Les Rone of Kosciusko, Laurie Hines (Tony) of Hernando and Dr. Diana Rone Tate (Jason) of Pelahatchie; her grandchildren, Ross Brent, Davis Brent, Matt Miller (Kayla), Hayden Miller, Colton Miller, Rone Thomas Tate, Edie Tate and Max Tate; and her great grandchildren, Lacie Miller, Eden Miller and Isla Miller.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Parkway Baptist Church (1020 S Huntington St, Kosciusko, MS 39090). A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at the Parkway Cemetery (904 S Huntington St, Kosciusko, MS 39090).
