She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Steele and Marian Steele (Magee); her husband John Melvin Prettyman; her brothers, Ronald and Wayne Steele; her niece Michelle Naranjo; her grandchildren, Lauren Miles, Michele Prettyman and Brendon Prettyman; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Larimore.
She is survived by: her children, Joann Prettyman and John Wayne Prettyman (Sharon Prettyman); her grandchildren, Chad and Kirsten; her sister-in-law Louise; and her caregivers, Nancy, Sue and Wilma. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, two nephews, four special great nieces and two special great nephews.
