She is survived by: her children, John Oakes, Tommy Oakes of Kosciusko, Mississippi and Evelyn Desiree Moore of Carthage, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Anthony Oakes, Lucy Pracht, Patrick Halderman, Alyssa Oakes and Vada Freshour; her great grandchildren, Eli Oakes, Lucas Oakes, Madi Oakes, Peyton Pracht and Walker Dell Bradford; and her siblings, Larry Dewitt, Bob Dewitt, Phyllis Carnes, Gayle Carroll and Kelly Musser.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Jordan Funeral Home (855 MS-12, Kosciusko, MS 39090).
