He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Thomas and Nancy Hoof Jones. He is survived by: his wife Linda Gant Jones; his children, Richard Jones, Jr. and Terri Kuhn (Michael); his sisters, Barbara Worrell (Jimmy) and Virginia Hathcock (Vernon); his grandsons, Joseph Kuhn (Morghanne) and Matthew Kuhn; his great grandchild Mary Hayden Kuhn; and his niece Karen Burrell.
