She was predeceased by : her parents, William H. McSwain and Nora Powell McSwain; and her siblings, James Edward McSwain (Juanita), Thomas Jackson McSwain (Grace), William E McSwain (Lucille) and Carolyn McSwain Johnson (Johnny Johnson).
She is survived by : her husband Van C. Foster, Jr.; and her daughters, Pamela R. Foster, Lisa C. Foster and Suzanne J. Foster. She is also survived by four grand dogs and cats, and many nieces and nephews.
