He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Genell Walker Pugh (Billie Joyce Pugh); and his brothers, Wayne Woodson and James Pugh. He is survived by: his wife Billie Joyce Pugh; his daughter Mary Dorsey (Ashley) of Kosciusko, Mississippi.; and his caregiver Erica Houston.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jordan Funeral Home (855 MS-12, Kosciusko, MS 39090). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at the Marvin Chapel Cemetery (823 S Huntington St, Kosciusko, MS 39090).
