She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Houston and Nettie Mae Emmons Weaver; and her siblings, Marion Mae Weaver, Willie Mae Bunch, Howard, James Weaver and Sidney Emmons.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Nester; her children, Mike Nester, Melissa Nester Clark (Kent) and Matthew Nester (Jessica); her sister Pat Brock; and her grandchildren, Logan Nester (Jessica), Harmonee Nester (Jerek), Jonathan Clark (Stacy), Amanda Sharp (Eric), Hannah Warren (Dillan), Noah Clark, Cole Nester, Madison Nester and Raini Nester. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church (457 Pine Ridge Rd, Lawrence, MS 39336). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
