Daniel Hurtienne Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Hurtienne in Lamar, Mississippi, who passed away on February 12, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Daniel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Daniel farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Hurtienne and Charlotte Hurtienne. He is survived by: his wife Andrea; his brothers, William Hurtienne (Judith) and Gary Hurtienne (Sharon); his daughters, Heidi Dew (Kevin), Naomi Magola (Chris) and Katherine Joyner (Mike); and his grandchildren, Jolie Magola, Anna Boudreaux and William Boudreaux.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Least of These Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 417, Ellisville, MS, 39437, in honor of Daniel's love for animals and the gratitude for the care given to his beloved dog, George.
