With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leila Marie Heathcoe of Lamar, Mississippi, who passed away on May 16, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Leila Marie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Leila Marie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her daughters, Selena Simmons and Heather White; her father Thomas Heathcoe; and her brother Stephan Heathcoe. She is survived by: her mother Helen Heathcoe; her daughters, Samantha Kennedy (Adam), Erica Heathcoe and Willie Jean Mooney; and her siblings, Anita Blackwell, John Heathcoe, Thomas Heathcoe and Paul Heathcoe. She is also survived by her grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
