He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herbert Swearingen and Inez Lucille Swearingen; his son Patrick Wayne Swearingen; his great grandchild Jackson; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Jordan, Gerald Merritt and Deana Swearingen.
He is survived by: his significant other Patty Shaw Swearingen; his children, Ashley Swearingen Tew (Hunter), Deanna Swearingen, Allyson Swearingen Musa (Sam) and Caleb Swearingen (Nikki); his grandchildren, Ashton, Chandler, Jaclyn, Amera, Mia, Kaleigh, Jackson, Georgia Brooke, Alexander, Maverick and Kinsley; and his siblings, Dean Jordan, Mikki Merritt and James Swearingen. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
