He was predeceased by : his parents, George Rainer and Margaret Rainer; and his siblings, George Daniel Rainer, Orland Nicky Rainer, Rodney Carl Rainer and Peggy Rainer Gibson.

He is survived by : his wife Renee Rainer; his son Jared Rainer (Brandon Chumley); and his siblings, Donald Rainer (Jan) and Ellen Rainer Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
