We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2025, at the age of 75, Annie Ruth Bustin of Laurel, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Annie departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Annie. Though Annie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Walters and Ruby Edwards Walters; and her sisters, Joyce Parker and Rebecca Cook. She is survived by: her husband Michael Bustin; her siblings, George E. Walters (Carolyn) and Juanita Sumrall; her grandchildren, Sydney Moore and Michael Moore; and her close friend Danielle Moore. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakland Grove Baptist Church (2475 Pleasant Grove Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
