Arlene Bush Heptinstall Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene Bush Heptinstall of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on February 26, 2021 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arlene Bush Heptinstall to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche Miller and T. J. Miller; her former husband Harold Bush; her husband Calvin Heptinstall; and her brothers, Thomas Lee Miller, Henry Miller and James Miller.

She is survived by: her children, Dr. Theresa Sanchez, Ernest Bush and Tommie Rodgers (Les); her stepdaughters, Joyce Watson (Gordon) and Donna Crooke; her grandchildren, Jennifer Holly (Nathan), Kelly Buchanan (Casey), Laken Phillips (Jerry), Zachary and Elisha Rodgers; her stepgrandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher Watson, Joseph, Hannah and Lydia Crooke; her great grandchildren, Anna Kate, William Holly and Sadie Buchanan; and her siblings, Annie Ruth Graham, Edna Holifield (Allen Glover) and Sydney Miller. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family urges visitors to wear a mask and social distance at the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Sharon, the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art, or the Ellen Young Gunn Steinway Project through the Jones College Foundation.
