Benson Hill Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Benson Hill of Laurel, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 7, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Etoile Jernigan Hill; his parents, Everett Hill and Vallie Pitts Hill; and his siblings, Emma Joy Smith Powell and Carlson Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Turner (Mike), Becky Tew (Vern), Nelson Hill (Rosemary) and Jan Collins (Kerry); his sister Gloria Ellzey; and his sister-in-law Patsy Hill. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Crossgate Bible Church, P.O. Box 71, Soso, MS 39480.
