Benton Ray Harper Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benton Ray Harper of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Harper and Earline Harper; and his sister-in-law Renee Harper. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Harper; his children, Amanda Bolin (Russell), Amberly Sanders (Danny), Renee Langford Shawn and B. W. Pitts (Christy); his brothers, Harold, Steve (Angela) and Stanley Harper; and his friend Mike Stovall. He is also survived by many friends and family, especially the staff and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memory Chapel (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memory Chapel Funeral Home (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
