She was predeceased by: her mother Mattie Lee; her husband Joe Spears of Greenfield; her father Bill Neel; her siblings, Tommy Neel and Shirley; her brother-in-law T. H. Roberson; and her nephews, Shawn, Chris and Brent Roberson.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeannine Howell (Lowell); her grandchildren, Mason Howell (Rachael) and Haven Howell; her nephew Landon Roberson (Pam); her caregiver Belinda Wade; and also, Mary Nell Howell, David, Peggy Wolgamott and Nila Conn, RN.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Laurel (607 W 5th St, Laurel, MS 39440). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
