She is survived by : her son David Rawls Valentine; and her brother Billy Rawls. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
