Beverly Jean Wright Obituary

Beverly Jean Wright, of Laurel, MS passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 87. Mrs. Wright was born in Hattiesburg on August 15, 1933. She was employed as a pediatric nurse practitioner prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward L. Blackwell and Bonnie A. Lee Blackwell; her husband, Sidney Gerald Wright, Sr.; one daughter, Cheryl Dunagin; and one sister, Gloria Johnson.

Survivors include two sons, Edward Wright (Yvonne) of Laurel and Sidney Gerald Wright, Jr. of Columbus; one sister, Dagmar Steele of Laurel; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2020 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 10 a.m. at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
