He was predeceased by: his parents, Coby Vaughan and Sarah Helen Vaughan (Murry) of Fordyce; his sister Martha Jane Santifer; his brother-in-law Jerry Santifer; and his great grandchild David Michael Dunavent.
He is survived by: his grandson Michael; his wife Mary Helen; his siblings, Mike Vaughan (Connie) of Camden, Arkansas and Linda Sanders (Carlton) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; and his children, Deborah Stoulig of Brandon, Mississippi, Michael Vaughan (Rhonda) of Morton, Mississippi, Victoria Coats (Daryl) of Jones County, Mississippi and Billy Vaughan (Andrea) of Avondale, Arizona. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Billy Vaughan Scholarship Fund at the William Carey University School of Music.
