She is survived by: her children, Gail Smith Akers (Jim) and Randy R. Smith (Wanda); her grandchildren, Thad M. Akers, Cade W. Akers (Susan) and Kayla Smith Boudreaux (Danny); and her great grandchildren, Cecilia Rae Akers, Josiah Daniel Boudreaux, Emma Kathleen Akers, Janalynn Marie Boudreaux and Lia Grace Akers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Gideons International or Indian Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, Laurel, Mississippi.
