He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton J Holifield and Jewel Jean Crawford Holifield; and his sisters-in-law, Pauline Holifield, Elaine Holifield and Shirley Holifield.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Holifield, Jr., Jody A Holifield, Dawn Holifield Jordan (Jeffrey) and Angela D Holifield Clark; his brothers, MJ Holifield, Ronnie Holifield and Prentiss Holifield; and his granddaughters, Brianna McLemore (Matthew), Amber Thatch, Hannah Davis (Walter), Brittany Purvis (Slade), Bailee Reed (Taylor), Katlyn Myrick, Rebecca Hawk (Josh) and Memorie Boykin.
