Though Bobby may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Polly Smith of Laurel; and his brothers, Arthur George of Laurel and James Edward Smith of Laurel. He is survived by: his wife Janet Smith of Laurel; his sons, Dwain Smith of Laurel and Scott Smith (Delinda) of Laurel; his granddaughter Madison Suggs (Ryan) of Laurel; his great grandchildren, Tucker and Tanner Suggs of Laurel; and his brother Jerry Wayne Smith.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2151 MS-184, Laurel, MS 39443).
