William and Glenda Wittman wrote a sympathy message

“In loving memory of Carl Dorman Lyon, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Mr Lyon was a kind and gentle man. Taught me auto mechanics at R.H. Watkins High School. He was the last person to hear me say a cuss word. I was leaving the shop class and the garage door came down on my head and knocked me to my knees I CUSSED out loud enough half the school heard me. He came over to me and said, "I would probably have done the same thing".”
