She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis W. Ekes and Mary Lee Ekes; her sister Helen E. Wilson; and her son-in-law Paul Craven, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband William "Billy" T. Smith; her sister Mary Jaqueline Meyers; her children, Richard Conrad (Debbie) and Gianna Craven; her grandsons, Andrew Conrad (Kellie) and Nolan Hall (Tonya); and her great grandchildren, Isla Conrad, Hali Conrad, Dalton Hall and Savannah Hall.
