She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis Schwan and Vernell Schwan; her husband Lavon Chancellor; and her brothers, Alvin Schwan and Dennis Schwan.

She is survived by : her children, Stacy Chancellor (Melissa) of Laurel and Wendy Ladner (Leslie) of Laurel; her grandchildren, Josh Chancellor (Tori), Alexus Herrington (William), Heather Sanford (Jett), Jonathon Ladner (Dora), Victoria Pitts (Zach) and Haylee Ladner; and her brother Brian Schwan (Vicki) of Tupelo, MS. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
