With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clyde Dwaine Holifield of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on June 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Eugene Holifield and Stella Mayoma Shoemake Holifield; his brother Danny Holifield; and his brother-in-law Charlie Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Sherille Ann Temple Holifield; his children, Kimble Holifield (DeAnna) and Tara Holifield; his siblings, Keith Holifield (Carolyn) and Dinah Murphy; his grandchildren, Blair Kelley (Kodey), Levi Smith, Dakota Lawson (Josh), Tori Mitchell (Trey), Jordan Ardoin (Matt) and Sydney Holifield; and his great grandchildren, Raylee, Chason, Sadie Smith, Addie, Fletcher Kelley, Jovie Monroe Lawson, Hayes, Poppy Glenn Mitchell and Callan Ardoin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
