She was predeceased by: her significant other Dr. David Lee Sheppard, Sr. (Cynthia); and her sister Joy Douglas Whitehead Brown. She is survived by: her children, Rev. Chris Sheppard (Christy) of Brookhaven and Cellie Scoggin (Patrick) of Laurel; her grandchildren, Patrick Lee Scoggin (Kyasia), Tom Scoggin (Erin), Annie Ebbers (Elijah) and Maggie Sheppard; and her great grandchildren, Elliot, Mya, Eden, Joel, Ruby and Shep Scoggin.
