She was predeceased by: her father Travis Johnson; her stepmother Rita Johnson; and her mother Jane Gatlin. She is survived by: her significant other Lewis Sullivan; her son Samuel E. Walters; her grandsons, Samuel E. Walters, III, Donovan Walters and Justin Schlunaker; and her sister Deborah Brett. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memory Chapel Funeral Home (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
