He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Lowell Sewell and Dorothy Sewell; wife: Vicki Green Sewell; children: Carrie Sewell Huff (Josh) and Chad Sewell (Jennifer); grandchildren: Carley Smith (Tobie), Breonna Jones (Parker), Peyton Holifield (Jackson), Presley Huff, Audrey Sewell, Kate Sewell, Wyatt Sewell, Doc Sewell, Riley Huff, Reagan Huff and Ariana Craft (Dakota Deshields); siblings: Terry Lowell Sewell, Cleve Sewell, Brenda Laird, Martha Roach (Jimmy) and Darlene Sewell; in-laws: Sherman Green, Dr. Dean Laird, Steve Green, JoAnn Green, Mike Cox (DeAnna), Chad Russell (Tracey) and Joyce Green; nephews: James Roach and Bradon Prewit; other: Rev. Eric Estes, Rev. Greg Gavin, Dr. Luke Johnson, Rev. Chris Sheppard, Joe Bigler, Keith Westmoreland, Tyler Lightsey and Glenn Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, caregivers and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Highland Baptist Church (2513 N 7th Ave, Laurel, MS 39440). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the Union Line Cemetery (8 Union Line Rd, Soso, MS 39480).
