With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris C. Blackwell of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on October 23, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Blackwell; and her parents, W. A. Crosby (Red) and Oleta Crosby. She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Holder (Gary), Carolyn Chancellor (Bill) of Laurel, Charlotte Smith (Stephen) of Bay Springs and Tammy Rogers (Timmy) of Laurel; and her sisters, Mary McReynolds of Byram, MS and Pat Skipper of Laurel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
