She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Irvin Wilkerson and Gracie Wilkerson; her husband George Mitchell Copeland; her sons, George Timothy (Tim) and Terry (Olga); her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jessica (Justin), John (Kim), Jesse (Rebekah), Alexis, Caroline and George; her great grandchildren, Spencer, Ava, Catalina and Laura Emerson; her brothers, Henry and Doyle; her sister-in-law Juanita Ferguson; her sister Kathy Peterson (David); and also, Sara, Doris, Dee and Bonnie. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dorothy's name to the Alzheimer's Association or First United Methodist Church in Laurel, MS.
