It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorthy Pitts of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Rev. Reginald C. Pitts; her parents, Arna Brewer and Myrtle Guthrie Brewer; her son Shelton Ray Pitts; her brother Donald Brewer; and her parents-in-law, John Mabry Pitts and Fannie Pitts.
She is survived by : her children, Roger Pitts (Cindy) of Laurel, MS and Brenda Pittman (Fred); and her grandchildren, Chase Pitts (Alesha), Jennifer Hollingsworth (Eddie Robuck), Emily Meadows, Rebecca Hawk (Josh) and Shellaina Eason.
