He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Walter Tillery and Eva Read Tillery; and his nephew Bruce Young. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Tillery; his daughters, Alicia Dunlap (Richard) and Ellen Morrow (Richard); his sister Joan Tillery Young; his grandchildren, Martin Dunlap, Douglas Dunlap (Lexi), Elsie, Sophie and Mary Morrow; his great grandchild Douglas Tillery Dunlap Jr.; his nephew Brian Young (Carla); his stepdaughter Kristen Hayes; and his stepgranddaughters, Kylie and Kinzley Hayes.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Laurel (607 W 5th St, Laurel, MS 39440). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
