Eric leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Eric’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Eric will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Derry Butler, Sr. and Grace Bynum Butler. He is survived by: his wife Connie Butler; his daughter Amanda; his son-in-law Robert Lee; his grandchildren, Layla and Tripp Lee; his son Britt Butler; his brother Chris; and his sister-in-law Pam Butler. He is also survived by friends, former co-workers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The Children's Center for Communication and Development Fund (0346) through The University of Southern Mississippi Foundation either in Memory of Derry Butler or in Honor of Layla Lee.
