It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eunice Yount of Laurel, Mississippi, born in Ellisville, Mississippi, who passed away on June 25, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin W. Yount; her parents, Hannon Creel and Hassie Allen Creel; her grandson William David West Jr.; her brother Billy Creel; and her son-in-law William David West Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Robert W. Yount, Linda Barrett (Richard), Debbie West, Connie Creel (Dirk), Kathy Sullivan (Larry J.) and Brenda Powe (Randy). She is also survived by 2 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 1 great-granddaughter and 4 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Family and Friends of Ellisville State School, in care of Victoria Everett, 1101 Highway 11 South, Ellisville, MS 39437.
