He is survived by: his wife Joann Cheeks McKenzie of Laurel, MS; his children, Jonathan McKenzie (Cindy), Elizabeth McKenzie Rackley (Will) and Sarah McKenzie Giron (Jason); his grandchildren, Mollie Rackley, Joe Lester, Lou Lester, BenMcKenzie, Emma Kate McKenzie, Madi Grace McKenzie, Tucker Giron and Annabelle Giron; his sister Becky McKenzie Shoemaker (Mike); his sibling's children, Scott Shoemaker, Brian Shoemaker and Katie Cooley; and his sister-in-law Diann Walters (Larry).
