With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Freddie Earl Peak (Laurel, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 77. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Freddie had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Freddie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Mae Platt Peak and Fred Mason Peak; his sons, Freddie Peak and Jeremy Cooper; his grandson Blake Cooper; and his brother Charles Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Peak; his children, Melinda Bryant (George), Amber Fowler (Byron) and Joshua Cooper (Cari); and his friends, Jimmy Knight and Robbie Moss. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Memory Chapel (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memory Chapel Funeral Home (3100 Audubon Dr, Laurel, MS 39440).
