He is survived by: his wife Sandy Collins (Walters); his children, Windy (Ski), Kellie, Josh and Layne (Becky); his grandchildren, Leslie Germond (Barrett), Jacob Kilpatrick (Pauleen), Carter Kilpatrick, Sawyer Collins, Anna Clayton Collins, Bowen and Ariel; his sister Ann Abernathy; and his sister-in-law Patricia Blackledge (Buddy).
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Gary Collins to Rain Down Ministries, an organization dedicated to teaching others about God's creation through outdoor ministry and discipleship.
