He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Hendry Sr. and Earline Hendry Dorton; his stepmother Owena H. Waltman (Helen M. Hendry); and his siblings, Felicia Hendry and Jimmy Dale Hendry.
He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Hendry, Linda Hendry, Shirley Richard and Julie Hendry; his sons, George T. Hendry, James H. (Nancy Hendry) and Paul W. (Lori Hendry); his grandchildren, Sean M. Hendry, Reagan T. Hendry, Bayley B. McClure, Kendall J. Hendry, Braden D. Hendry and Bryce F. Hendry; and his great grandchildren, Kemper K. Hendry and Trigg T. Hendry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
