She was predeceased by: her son Richard Craven; her parents, Roger Earl Melton and Evelyn Lewis Sumrall; and her siblings, Howell Earl Melton, Jerry Melton, Ray Melton, Jeanone Rayner and Sue Fenton McClain.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Craven Sr.; her children, Carl Craven Jr. and Charlotte Ezell (David); her grandchildren, Latasha Kilpatrick (Brad), Chad Mann, Carrie Robinson (Chris), Clinton Craven, Anna Cooley (Jimmy) and Nicholas Craven; and her sister Bennie Rogers. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
