He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bankston; his children, Leah Johnson (Darrin), Lance Bankston (Erin) and Kayla Bankston (Randall); his grandchildren, Derrick Johnson, Laura Ortego (Grant), Natalie Johnson and Theodore Cochran; his great grandchild William Ortego; and his siblings, Timmy Bankston (Judy) and Tommye Dauphin (Gary). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
