She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin A. Smolko and Stella D. Smolko (Pileski); her husband Anthony M. Kantz; and her sisters, Stella E. Grata, Margaret Stanislawczyk and Velma Cekada.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony "Tony" Kantz (Lori) and Serena Hancock (Wesley); her brother Irvin Smolko (Carol); and her grandchildren, Ethan Hancock, Emily Kantz and Brayden Hancock.
A memorial service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (833 W 6th St, Laurel, MS 39440).
