He is survived by: his wife Alice Eure Reid of Laurel; his sons, Tim Reid of Laurel, David Reid of Laurel and Matt Reid (Melissa) of Ellisville; his grandchild Robin Ensign (Michael) of Laurel; his sister Paula Reid of Taylorsville; his nephew John Reid (Betty) of Petal; his great-niece Katie Pratt (Paul) of Petal; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Silas, Holly, Bethany Ensign of Laurel, Paisley, John and R. J. Reid of Ellisville.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in his honor to the Christian Food Mission, Gideons International, or Bethlehem Baptist Church.
