He is survived by: his wife Lynn Patrick; his children, April Plymale (Jason) and Russ Patrick (Amy); his grandsons, Leighton Patrick, Carter Wiginton and Fisher Plymale; his brother Mark Patrick; his sisters-in-law, Cathy Byrd, Jamie Chancellor and Christa Thornton (Paul); and his sibling's children, Cody Patrick, Chance Clark, Garrett Thornton, Wesley Nowlin, Jennifer Chancellor Clark, Katie Chancellor Billings, Morgan Clark and Bailey Thornton Nichols.
