He is survived by: his wife Willa Dean Busby Slaton; his siblings-in-law, Clarice Busby Hartshorn (Norman), Eloise Busby Graham (James) and Warren Walker; his children, Dr. Karen Slaton, Kimble Slaton (Susan) and Karla Barnes (Bryan); his grandchildren, Kiefer Slaton (Haley), Emily Carter (Sam), Leah Winger (Daniel) and Marian Thomas (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Violet Carter, Joel Winger, Lucy Carter, Piper Thomas, Leona Carter, Chloe Thomas and Jordan Winger; and his siblings, Jack Slaton, Billy Ray Slaton and Faye Craft. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
