It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Warren Wilkerson of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilkerson and Caroline Wilkerson; his son Ken Wilkerson; and his sister-in-law Peggy Wilkerson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Wilkerson; his brother Fred Wilkerson; his son Steve Wilkerson (Cindy); his daughter-in-law Wendy Wilkerson; his grandchildren, Lan McNair, Sam Wilkerson (Emily), Jonathan Hosey and Amy Fontenot (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Coen Fontenot and Adeline Fontenot. He is also survived by great-grandchild; other extended family; and many friends.
