Janice Evoler Bryant Obituary

We announce the death of Janice Evoler Bryant (Laurel, Mississippi), who passed away on October 26, 2026, at the age of 87. Janice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reed Cleckler and Hazel Cleckler; and her siblings, Carey Cleckler and Virginia Noble. She is survived by: her husband Ruben Bryant; her children, Barry Bryant of Soso, MS and Darlene Cain (Steve) of Parker, CO; her grandson Bryan Cain of Parker, CO; her brothers, Jim Cleckler (Cindy) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, David Cleckler, Sr. (Brenda) of Laurel, MS and Leon Cleckler (Dot) of Laurel, MS; and her children, Dale Moss (Teresa) of Ellisville, MS, Dana Moss of Jasper County, MS and LaDonna Pippen (Joey) of Ellisville, MS.. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces – including her special nephews and niece.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lebanon Baptist Church (166 Loftin Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery (166 Loftin Rd, Laurel, MS 39443).
