He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith; his children, Jerry Smith, Bobby Smith (Kim), Kristy Reeves (Ramey) and Savannah Green (Jason); his grandchildren, Magon Gavin (Hunter), Jacob Smith (Olivia), Harlon Reeves and Kaelin Reeves; his great grandchildren, Nathan Daniels, Braxton Green, Maylee Gavin, Kannon Green, Magnolia Gavin and Willow Smith; and his siblings, Helen Ulmer (James), Janice Rhodes (Clifford) and Danny Smith (Maria).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel (4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel Starts (4593 Indian Springs Rd, Laurel, MS 39443). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.
