It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Kittrell of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Kittrell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Dyess and Arlander McRae; her husband Robert Earl Kittrell; and her brothers, Charles McRae, Pete McRae and Billy Wayne McRae.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Cook (Ricky) of Ellisville, MS; her siblings, Jerry McRae (Joyce) and Janette Manning of Waynesboro, MS; her grandchildren, Beth Brown of Laurel, MS and Daniel Cook (Caitlynn) of Laurel, MS; her great grandchildren, Rylan Broome, Dani Kaye Cook and Delilah Cook; and her sister-in-law Alma Pearl McRae of Waynesboro, MS. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove Methodist Cemetery (2 Jones Walker Loop Rd, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church (2 Jones Walker Loop Rd, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the Pleasant Grove Methodist Cemetery (2 Jones Walker Loop Rd, Waynesboro, MS 39367).
