She is survived by: her parents, Arthur Carter and Shellie Shoemake; her children, Lonnie Cortez Keyes and Porosha Keyes; and her siblings, Michael Carter Sr., John L. Carter, Arthur James Carter, Emma Flowers, Barbara Shelby and Linda Strong. She is also survived by one grandchild as well as other family and friends.
